Brock is a key member of Delta’s internal technical staff. He made a career shift to the wetland mitigation business in 2012 after serving as a forestry enforcement agent and criminal investigator for the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry. As an enforcement agent, he protected forest landowners from loss due to fire and theft, and promoted sustainable forestry practices through the enforcement of criminal and regulatory law. Brock’s distinctive investigatory talents and past experience as engineering planner and designer for Applied Engineering Services made him the perfect fit as Delta’s lead geospatial data analyst. His responsibilities include database development, management and analysis; field data collection and reporting; project evaluation and analysis; and technical drawings for project planning, design, and construction. Brock’s engineering expertise and out-of-the-box thinking also pulls him into the R&D realm, assisting the team with planning, development, and construction of prototypes. He is a 2008 graduate of LSU and currently an evening division law school student.
