USACE Visits Belle Pointe Coastal

Recently, we had the privilege of hosting members from various USACE districts at our Belle Pointe Coastal Mitigation Bank. These regulators joined us for a field trip as a part of a Regional Wetland Mitigation Training program hosted by the New Orleans District. We focused on overall site and adaptive management of a mitigation bank where we discussed habitat conversion and hydrologic improvements such as flap gate culverts.
